The League of United Latin American Citizens, or LULAC, is the oldest and largest Hispanic organization in the United States. Founded in 1929, LULAC seeks to empower Latinos by advocating for improved education, better health care services, and other civil rights issues. It is a non-partisan grassroots organization that works to unify Latino communities and promote civic engagement. Through its network of councils across the country, LULAC has sought to foster an inclusive environment where all Latinos can reach their full potential.
